TEMPERATURE MONITORING

Mild therapeutic hypothermia is a temperature-based treatment which naturally requires continuous temperature measurement throughout the cooling therapy. This therapy requires highly accurate temperature indications based on the core body temperature.

The EMCOOLS temperature measurement device provides an integrated, pre-set temperature feedback to ensure a safe cooling therapy throughout the cooling process. The EMCOOLS Temp monitors the core temperature of the patient throughout the treatment. The data is stored for monitoring and evaluation purposes.

The temperature measurement device is suitable for pre-hospital and in-hospital use: it is portable, runs from AA batteries and is compatible with standard replaceable temperature probes.
